What a Funeral Costs

Funeral Accounts are divided into two parts - professional fees and disbursements.

Professional Fees

These are fees under the control of the Funeral Director and are our charges for making and carrying out all arrangements and taking care of your loved one until the funeral.

Disbursements

These are fees paid out by us on your behalf to third parties and are not under the control of the Funeral Director. These include:'

  • Cremation/interment fees.
  • Doctor’s fees.
  • Minister/celebrant's fees.
  • Newspaper notices.
  • Floral tributes.
  • Catering and venue hire.

Funeral Packages

We believe in simple, transparent funeral pricing. Arranging a funeral can be stressful enough without complicated funeral fees. As such, we have prepared a number of funeral packages which cover a range of typical needs and give you an illustrative cost. However, we also believe a funeral should be as unique as the life that went before it, so we always seek to tailor our funerals to meet your individual needs. In all cases, we provide a full quotation of the costs prior to booking.

Some examples of our funeral prices can be found below:
